A black one.
So, granted, a long way to go in the software. My experience is that Microsoft will do a much better job, and much faster job at plugging the issues in their software than Apple, plus Microsoft has many more options they can move to, making the Zune go from a nice tinker toy like an iPod, to a mandatory device in your home. I think Microsoft didn't give the Zune team enough developer support and that's why they had to cut back features.

So, Microsoft, add more dev support and give us MORE FREEDOM with our OWN device! :-) Do that, and you'll win this fight without much struggle.

Thanks again Maurice!

but what have they done to the software -

no support for downloading podcasts

no ability to delete listened to items directly from zune

no support for upnp (why do I have to have zune monitor directories when I have a media server sat on my network)

My wife has an ipod nano and i thought itunes was poor at downloading and sync'ing content but overall it is a better app than the zune software. at least with itunes I dont need any other software to make full use of the ipod!!

Of course it may just be my incompetence.........
