Hey guys, you are all correct.  The drivers do not support 'non-standard' NVidia chipsets, such as the 'Go' series of chipsets.  Apparently they felt there weren't enough of them to warranty support on an 'interim' release.  Apparently this is still not a final driver, but rather an interim driver for the RTM build of Vista.  Hopefully they'll get it together before the Consumer launch of Vista.  (I tried to install the driver on my Dell Inspiron 9300 w/ a GeForce Go 6800 chipset, same issue.)

I got it to work, 1 when it extracts the files, 2 I told windows to manually get the driver from the location, and told it I have a disk.  I picked my video card and got it to work.

Did it make any differance?

The big difference is, that my monitor does not stay off if I close my lid.

Other issues that still remain,  1-can't manually enter a screen resolution like I can with the XP drivers.  2- It takes 45 seconds to go into hibernation (MY ati driver does not have this problem).  But at least now when the machine records a TV show I don't have to worry about keeping the monitor open  :)
