Silverlight Ships, Linux Support Coming

Microsoft has released its Flash alternative, Silverlight. Silverlight, previously call Windows Presentation Foundation Everywhere (WPF/E) is designed to allow web developer to create rich multimedia experiences. You can download the released to web Windows version here. Mac go here. In partnership with Novell they will be delivering linux support via "Moonlight". You can learn more at the mono project website. The will be targeting Linux first and will looking at others (BSD, Solaris) after that.
