Skype, Mea Culpa

After what appeared initially like a finger pointing session, Skype has owned up to the problem being squarely on them in their latest blog post, which we all knew to begin with. They claim to have addressed the "bug" that caused a two day global outage and I am sure millions of dollars for its customers, now how about restitution?  Will all subscribers now see a rebate check for the inconvenience?  What would you want to see them do?

UPDATE: Skype is offering 7 extra days of service for certain cusomters:

As a goodwill gesture to all you faithful Skype Pro, Skype Unlimited,

SkypeIn or Skype Voicemail customers, we're adding an additional seven

days to your current subscription, free of charge.  And even if you

didn't miss out on using Skype last week - you can still have a week

free on Skype, on the house!

Eric,

Can you give me examples of a Microsoft services that you pay a monthly or annual charge for that would fall in this category? I can't seem to think of any that are analogous ot the Skype situation....but I don't use every service.
