Patch Tuesday is next week and will have 9, yes 9, security bulletins. There will be six that affect Windows, One for Office, One for Office and Windows, and One for Virtual PC and Microsoft Virtual Server. Six of these have been rated critical and three rated as important.

In addition to these Microsoft is planning to issue four high priority non-security updates via Microsoft Update and two via Windows Update. No word on what these are, but I am guessing two are the Reliability and Performance updates recently published.
