Windows NetMeeting for Windows Vista

Microsoft has quitely made available a version of Windows NetMeeting that will work on Windows Vista. This is not a public download so you will need to contact Microsoft support if you have a need for its downlevel collaboration capabilities.

also note that it will disable glass when it launches and that the remote desktop capabilities have been removed.

This number KB927853 noted above, is it a microsoft document? if so, it is not found on the microsoft support site....................

I need the remote desktop capabilities,  what am I going to do?  I have an xp machine and support several hundred computers all over the country.  Do you know of any alternative for me or tricks to get connected to  these peoples computers to support my software once they upgrade to Vista.  Once I upgrade to Vista most of my clients will still be on xp, then how will i support them.  Any ideas.

So, how can we get this copy of Net Meeting for Vista? What is the exact process or e-mail or website to contact MS Support?

EM, that is the KB...it isn't publicly seen.

Jake, You can use RDP as a remote desktop option...the other option is Remote assistance which works really well.
