As some in the Beta community have quickly discovered Microsoft's Zune player does not support Windows Vista. The good news is that According to David Weller A.K.A. "letskilldave" a Microsoft employee there is a beta in the works that will allow your Zune to work with Windows Vista RTM. Yes, you will need to upgrade to RTM for this to work.
UPDATE: I've received email that a beta that will work with Vista RTM. Since Vista RTM will be avaiable for MSDN subscribers Real Soon Now, I'm kinda guessing that the Zune beta for Vista RTM will be coming out publicly in a few weeks. If you have a non-RTM version of Vista though, you're not going to be supported. Sorry!
Windows Vista is schedualed to go live on MSDN this Friday the 17th, so lets hope that Zune beta makes it out VERY soon.
