Windows Vista GUI Not Final

Today the Windows Vista beta held a chat with the Shell team who provided answers to many questions from the Tech Beta community.  We learned that the February CTP won't be that much different from the current betas, but that changes are still coming for Windows Vista.

Dona [MSFT] (Moderator):
Q: [60] The rumors said, there is a special team (another ms shell/GUI team), which develop a new/cooler/better GUI/interface beside of AERO? Is that true and can we expect this surface in Vista final release?

A: There are going to be GUI changes in Vista by the time the final release comes, but it'll be from the Shell, not any top secret *Mission Shell* team

Olivier (Expert):
Q: [135] What is Aurora and how will this be implemented in the user interface or is it just a tool for developers to learn and understand the capabilities of WinFX?

A: Aurora is one of the graphical elements of the Windows Vista brand. Expect to see it in several places... It is not a tool... That's about as much as I can say about it.
